Indian government has launched a new "LPG transparency portal" to make available the cylinders usage details to all its consumers. Using the portal, one can rate their distributor, report a complaint, surrender a connection and also can view a list of high consumption consumers under a specified distributor.

The service is hosted on individual oil marketing Company's site. You can access the portal from site based on your oil company. Here is a list linking to the LPG web portals of all three companies.

To view usage details, first find your distributor. There are two ways to do this.

  1. Go to the quick search option, and type first three letters of the distributor name. A list with matching words will be shown to you on same screen. Select one from that and click on Proceed button. It should now display the list of all consumers served by that agency.

  2. Use the Normal Search, and choose your state, city and distributer name from the boxes and click on Proceed button.

To See Your Refill History

To find your history, it will be better to first narrow the search results. For that, put your consumer number in the appropriate box provided there, and proceed. Now click on the 'refill qty.' column to view date wise booking details. This will show you details for each booking since your distributer has joined the centralised server. Here in the list each of your delivery is logged including the booking number, booking date, delivery date etc.

Problem with Bharat Petroleum Website

This is not a problem, but preventing some non-techie people from viewing the user-specific details usage list. Actually clicking on the Subsidized Refill Qty column triggers a new popup to show details. But that is blocked by most of the modern browsers. This go unnoticed by users. In order to view them, you may safely disable the popup blocker for the particular site.
