Angry Birds is now available on the world's biggest social network, Facebook, with some new and unique features. Now, with the social platform, it has the same addictive appeal as any other popular game like Millionaire City or Cityville as players engage with their friends. In the similar fashion, the game allows users to select from a small number of friends and challenge them to beat their high score.
According to Rovio, this time, you can use power-ups to supercharge your birds and get additional features for power play which will enhance your gaming experience. You can receive power-ups through daily rewards for visiting Angry Birds on Facebook on consecutive days. Players can also gift power-ups to others, but only once to a friend in a day. These power-ups can also be gained by purchasing.
There are 4 different types of power-ups and they can be accessed via the lightning bolt button at the top of the screen. You can use two power-ups per level. These are:
- Super Seeds- increases size of the bird, so it can causes more damage.
- King Sling- boosts the launch speed of all birds.
- Sling Scope- see the bird's trajectory, for accurate targeting.
- Birdquake- shakes the ground, to nudge off pigs and collapse unstable structures.
