As a part of exclusive tie-up between Google and Reliance Communication in India, RCom has announced that it will be offering 1 GB of free data (only on 3G network) to all new and existing customers who buy a new 'Google Authorized 3G Android O/S handset'.

The offer is available for all new and existing CDMA customers who upgrade and activate their handset with Google approved 3G Android devices, on the Reliance 3G network. Customers can apply for this offer only during the period of 15th April, 2012 to 15th June, 2012. However, free data uses is to be consumed within 30 days.

Don't be upset if you are a GSM user and planning to replace your handset with an Android 3G phone. Have patience for no more than 20 days. Because, from 5th of May 2012 onwards this offer will also applicable to existing RCOM GSM customers who will upgrade or buy such phones.

How to Avail this Offer

Upon purchasing / upgrading your mobile number to a Google authorized 3G Android smartphone, you will have to make a first voice call. Post that, RCom will be able to provide you the offer through OTAF within 72 hours. You will also receive a SMS on your mobile confirming that the offer has been credited.

If You Don't Get the Offer

If you have made the first voice call and not received the offer even after 72 hours, then note down your TAC Code (first 8 digits of your IMEI number) and call RCom customer care. They will definitely assist you.
