What Google is Doing at This Time?

Google has extended its service called Google Insights for Search. Insight tool shows live counter for what Google is counting at this time. It shows real-time statistics for searches, blog posts and videos watched on the day.

Google says, "We've brought together our fast, free insights tools to help you make sense of this data and start gaining valuable insight in real-time. It's the difference between guessing and knowing."

In a paper "Predicting the Present with Google Trends", Google explains that even predicting the present is useful because it can help improve forecasts of the current level of activity for a number of different economic time series.
